Dawn at the Harbor
Sunrise - Sea - Helsinki - Icebreakers

🇫🇮 Sataman aamunkoitto
🇬🇧 Dawn at the harbor
The photo is taken from Katajanokka in Helsinki on a September morning at one of Finland’s best prime locations. The sailboats are still waiting for their skippers, and the casino terrace awaits its customers. The freshly risen morning sun glows between the icebreakers. The sun’s rays illuminate the Kruununhaka buildings, captured at the bottom edge of the 360° image, behind the North Harbor. On the horizon, behind Korkeasaari, the tall skyscrapers of Kalasatama and the bridge construction site at Kruunuvuorenselkä can be seen peeking out.
Open air museum in autumn 1
Autumn - Heritage farm - Åland - History

🇫🇮 Syksyinen ulkoilmamuseo 1
🇬🇧 Open air museum in autumn 1
The photo tells about the 19th-century peasant history of Åland, enhanced by the colors of autumn foliage. The location is the Jan Karlsgården open-air museum in Kastelholm, Åland. By mid-October, the museum has already quieted down after the busy tourist season. In the 360° photograph, the circular layout of the yard is clearly visible. The horse with its wagon in the center looks ready for the day’s farm work. The main building of the heritage farm originates from Jan Karls farm in the village of Bamböle, in the municipality of Finström.
This artwok has been accepted to the 9th Kouvola salon of the 17th Finland International Digital Circuit 2025 exhibition too.
Boats on a summer evening
Summer – Lakeside Park – Virrat – Rowboats

🇫🇮 Kesäillan veneet
🇬🇧 Boats on a summer evening
The ship harbor, guest marina, and lakeside park bask in the calm of an early June evening. In the 360° image, you can see the evening sun over Kalettomanlahti, a bay of Lake Iso-Tarjannevesi, in Virrat. Rowboats have been pulled ashore at the end of the bay, and behind the boat docks lies the ship harbor, which is the northern port of the historic Poet’s Route. In the summer, the steamship s/s Tarjanne carries passengers along this route between Tampere, Ruovesi, and Virrat. The wind that blew during the day has pushed pollen rafts to the very end of the bay, which appears as a yellowish hue on the otherwise clean lake surface.
